Isn’t it cool to use your iPhone 4 / iPod Touch 4G to measure things? When you’re out and in need of a tape measure (or whatever you use to measure), your devices can help you. Using the same method as the full version, aim@ Lite can measure height thanks to the gyroscope. Just tap your screen and you’ll get an approximate height of an object that sits on the ground, of course. This is very promising.

Who would have known that an iPhone can measure things? But, it definitely can. Fast and easy.

WARNING!!! This is NO magic, it’s maths. Must see Video Tutorial and refer to User’s Guide before use. A little practice would help reduce hand shake and guarantee better results.

REMEMBER!! The object needs to be on the same level as you stand, not a computer screen on your desk. Be aware that accuracy depends on many factors including but not limited to:
- gyroscope sensors of your iDevices,
- iDevices position
- your accurate height at time of measurement (be sure to include your shoe height), and
- your hand stability during measurement

TIPS: When measuring people’s height, be sure to measure from head to heel, from the side or from behind.
